I only have three weeks left before I leave and it has been amazing to see everything fall into place. The Lord has provided and has met every need, including ones I didn’t even realize I had! I wasn’t sure what direction to take in this letter but as I thought about all God has done and the prayers He has answered I thought it may be good to look upon this. I know I will miss some, but I thought it important to be reminded of the things He has done and give Him all the Glory!



1. Having all the road blocks removed and able to prepare to go to Southern Sudan (March)
2. Getting an Airstrip in Napep- AIM didn’t know if this would ever happen and the Lord opened the hearts of the land owners and the community. (April)
3. Providing the money for a plane ticket and then some in the month of May! (May)
4. Providing all my financial support (Sept)
5. Blessing me with a group of great prayer warriors! (Continual)
6. The Gospel being spread through out Sudan! I can’t give specifics for security reasons, but know that the Lord is moving in the hearts of Muslims. (In May we prayed for Sudan- heard about the answer to prayer in Sept. by another missionary)
7. Winnie’s healing (team member)- (March)
8. Unity amongst the team as we talk through emails and phone calls (Continual)
9. The completion of our huts. (Aug)
10. Joining up the rest of my team in London so I won’t be flying alone!! (June)
11. Gospel spread to Children and their parents through VBS (July)
12. Directing me on when to share my leaving with my work and them being so supportive (Aug)
13. Opportunities to share my faith through leaving. (Continual)
14. Time management- He has given me ample time and has allowed everything to flow so smoothly. I am truly undeserving of this. (Continual)
15. Team Leaders received a satellite from their local body which will help with communication (May)
16. Protection for Team Leaders during their stay in Kenya (June)
17. The all night prayer nights are still bringing people together and He is moving through our prayers. (Aug)
18. Providing my Dad with a job. (July)
19. Opening the hearts of some Didinga men and them desiring discipleship! (Sept)
20. Blessing Deborah’s (Team leader’s wife) ministry through teaching children and sharing Christ (Sept)
21. Moving in the hearts of some of the African’s that are here in the states and placing the desire to share the gospel on their hearts (Aug)
22. Giving my family strength…this will probably be a continual prayer request but the Lord has given them such a peace that it is moving to me. I hope I can have the faith they have! (Continual)



I know this list only scratches the surface of all the things He has done. He has answered many more and I’m ashamed that I have already forgotten them. Maybe I wrote this list for me more than for you, but I hope it is an encouragement and a reminder of how much we are not only loved but how our lives are in the hands of a mighty, sovereign God and how important prayer is! I pray that when things get harder that I cling to my assurance of not only my salvation but the true Character of God and this gift of prayer that is so precious and powerful.

Thank you so much for praying for VBS. We had at least 180 Kids and by the end of the week even the pre-k’s were saying Didinga! I think the most precious thing was to hear them pray for the salvation of their friends and family. They seem to get straight to the point…one even prayed that I would not get stuck in traffic! I don’t know what kind of traffic I will encounter in Sudan but I know that I am covered. Please continue to pray for these little ones as each one heard the gospel that week and the power of salvation through Jesus. Pray that they would hold that close to their hearts and never forget what He has done for them.

I feel as though the Lord has an amazing way of preparing us. At the beginning of the summer, at one of our all night prayer meetings, a group of South Africans and some from Nigeria joined us in prayer. It was humbling to watch them worship and pray because they are so passionate. This Saturday I will be meeting with some of the girls to do a bible study. I’m not sure where all of them are spiritually but they seemed so excited to gather and go through God’s word. They have been very involved in our College and Career group and every time we gather, I am reminded of how Jesus units the body. Who would have guessed that God would be training me so soon to work along side other African believers?

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him.”
Eph. 1:3-4

PRAISES~
1. Praise God for all the Children that came and heard the gospel at VBS. 40% of the Children were not from our church which means many were hearing the gospel for the first time. Also, these children raised a little over $1,000 dollars in support for me and even more importantly are fervently praying for the Didinga and our team!
2. Praise God for this group of African’s that God has placed in our local body. Praise Him for their faithfulness and desire to grow in the Lord.
3. Praise God for the teams that went and build our home in Makiria, Sudan. They are almost finished and are now sewing the curtains for our windows!

PRAYER REQUESTS~
1. Pray for the men and women from Africa that we have been meeting with. Pray that they would not get caught up in the things of this world but that their hearts would be burdened to reach other’s, even those back home, for the gospel.
2. Pray for this Saturday as we meet to go through God’s word. Pray that God would challenge us and that we would have a great time of fellowship together.
3. Please pray for me as I will be telling my work next Tuesday that I am leaving. Pray for the words to speak and that they would hear my heart for the Lord.
4. Pray for discernment on what to pack. That I would be purposeful and really evaluate what is most important.

It is summer time which means it is time for VBS (Vacation Bible School)!! This month I have the opportunity to be a part of the VBS program at Faith Community Church. I will be serving at the mission’s booth and I am so excited to be used to teach children about our Lord. Every time I work with children I am reminded of how simple they make things and how sincere they are. To see the way the Lord reveals Himself to the smallest of them reminds me of how incredible the Holy Spirit is with in us. Sometimes when I read about the Didinga and how things will be I think how is God going to use me? I don’t know the language, culture, etc. and yet the more I see Him move the more I am ashamed that I would even ask Him such a question. We serve such an amazing God and yet so often we forget that. May we continually reflect on how great He is and never lose sight of it.

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not see you ablaze.” Isaiah 43:2

PRAISES~

1. My dad got a new Job!! He had been out of work this past year and several months ago got a job but the lord found it fitting for him to change jobs again. This was a blessing!!! Praise God for His perfect timing and blessing him with a better fitting job.
2. The last all night prayer night that was held we had about 30 people praying through out the night with us!! This is exciting as this has been our prayer for a while and now to see more and more brothers and sisters joining us is such an answer to prayer.
3. Last month I asked for prayer for my team leaders while they were in Kenya. The Lord answered those prayers and they have safely landed in Sudan.

PRAYER REQUESTS~

1. For the VBS’s going on all over the valley. This is an amazing program and many children hear about Christ for the first time through it. Please pray for those leading and the children and families who will be participating that God would reveal Himself to them.
2. For David and Deborah (my team leaders over there currently) that God would be giving them wisdom and preparing them for us to join them very shortly. Please pray specifically for the logistics of things that David, as team leader, will need to plan and think through.
3. Pray for Simon and Dario. They are two Didinga men that David has had an opportunity to disciple. Pray that David and Deborah would be a light and that these men would experience God’s presence.
4. Please pray for my other team members. Many have just sold their homes and some have already left family and friends to start training. Please pray for extra strength and that they would remain faithful and steadfast.
